“Daniel and I started dating in high school, which adds up to 7 years for us so far. We love the outdoors and adventures, so we will be getting married in the forest. We have had a great journey together so far, and we are even more excited about each other now than we were in high school.” – Lauren
High school sweethearts more in love now than ever getting married in the forest? Talk about an amazing initial email. Lauren went on to mention that she was a graphic designer and painter who also dabbled in photography, which made me even more excited to work with them as I love working with other creatives. After our first meeting I couldn’t help but notice the comfort and genuineness of the love Lauren and Daniel shared and after their engagement session it was easy to see they were best friends who were on fire for each other. Their wedding had all the right ingredients for a day filled with emotion and meaning, and that’s exactly what it turned out to be.
They were married at Pine Halls, a huge pine forest with rows of trees that look like aisles, just outside of Nashville in Cottontown, TN on a beautiful September day surrounded by their closest friends and family (who all baked pies, cakes and treats for their dessert table in lieu of a single wedding cake). It was truly a special day and you could tell Lauren and Daniel’s love touched and inspired everyone there.
I feel so honored to have been able to witness a love like Lauren and Daniel’s and to be a part of the day they began their lives together as husband and wife.
